Get the scoop on product management tips, what’s happening in Silicon Valley and industry leaders’ secrets to achieving maximum impact.
Two things that are central to who we are as a business are our smart technology and our people. With that in mind, we thought we’d share an update on what our Tech team – the people who power our technology – have been up to over the last few months.
In August, MarketInvoice hosted our second in a series of recently launched Tech Talks. We were joined by James Routledge, founder and CEO at Halo, who drew on his vast experience working with start-ups to talk about product management. Christopher Guttridge, one of our own product managers, has also been sharing some of the key takeaways that inspire his work at MarketInvoice on the team’s Tech blog.
Our most recent Tech Talk featured Mohammad Javed, Engineering Manager at AppLovin. He shared his Silicon Valley insights into building a team from the ground up and the role of engineering in a successful business. If his last name sounds familiar, that’s because he’s the brother of our own Silicon Valley import and CTO, Rija Javed.
Rija spoke at Hustle and Hack which took place at Rise this month, sharing high-level learnings from her background in engineering and how she got to where she is today. Earlier this week, Rija was on a panel at Facebook’s 3rd annual Leadership Summit discussing her views on creating a shared vision. Bright Network’s Startup Launch Marketing Secrets event also took place this week, where Rija joined other industry leaders to share tips for achieving maximum impact.
The Tech team continues to expand as MarketInvoice enters a period of rapid growth. Read an interview with Carla Caldarola, one of our more recent joiners, as well as some of the team’s longstanding members here.
